Happy easter!

Its now officially easter, so I could grab an egg and chow down, but that would be pointless and unhealthy seing as its 00.42... My mum explained to me what easter had to do with Christianity; nothing. Its all to do with the pagan holidays or something, Christianity just stole most of it, there is a whole explanation for it, I just cant remember it.

I just watched Tremors 3: Back To Perfection. It was fucking awful, so so so bad, I remember when I was a kid, me and Tom were flipping through some channels at like 2 a.m. and stumbled across Tremors, which was such a good movie when we were kids. The first and original film still has that factor but the sequals ruined it, so much.

Ohh, and seing as its easter, there was a Doctor Who special on tonight, which was amazingly good, I'm a Doctor Who fan, a big one. I don't collect all the toys or collectables or whatever, but thats not the point. What is the point is that I've followed the whole thing since it got re-released in 2005, and watched some of the old ones from the 50's-80's, which arent as good as the recent ones in my opinion. I was happy to see that Michelle Ryan was in it, Enfield gally gettin' it done. And shes rather attractive. Oh, and Posh Kenneth from Skins was in it, I can't remember his name, its something african. Aaaand, Lee Evans, haha, I love him, he's hilarious. I remember discovering him when I was 6, my parents bought me Mousehunt on VHS, haha, such a memorable film, I must of watched it over a hundred times, no joke. I used to watch videos all the time when I was a kid, favourites being George of the Jungle ('cause my dads called George), Land Before Time, and some others that I can't remember right now.

I also watched Robin Hood today, which was good, as always. Robin Hood never seems to fail me, it was well sad though. I was upset about Brother Tuck getting captured, he looked so sad. Then Much got turned down by Kate, and they almost got burnt alive! But ofcourse, Robin escaped, 'cause hes such a goon!

Finally; Red Dwarf's back. But is it for the better? I got home late last night, and started watching it on Dave Ja Vu, at like 1 a.m. or something, I wasn't impressed by it, it didn't seem the same. It seems too real now, theres no audience laughter, which genuinely makes it funnier. Cat's still hilarious, as always, I've love Cat, so much. He's so vain, and funny, haha. But the story line is ridiculous. They get sent to Earth, and find out that they're not real, they're characters in a TV show, and they're trying to find out what happens next. Its so far fetched, even though most of the Red Dwarf episodes are insanely far fetched, this is trying to be realistic, from what I gathered anyway. Its not working for me, so far. Only two episodes to go anyway.

This is easily the longest blog post I've ever done. The Machinist is on now, ooft, Christian Bale But I'm off to watch Higher Learning, which I've been meaning to watch for a while now. Happy easter fans!

  1. Lee Evans was pretty damn funny.
And damn you being such a big fan of Red Dwarf and Doctor Who! Two things I really really dislike! Haha.
    Oh man.
I had to endure an hour of Red Dwarf with my folks, the new one? It was way worse than the old ones and that says something, to me anyway. I didn't laugh once. Honest.
